Can't attend caucus?
You still can be a delegate to the Larimer County Democratic Party Assembly!
Democratic Party rules allow precinct caucuses to fill their delegate and alternate allotment with eligible voters who are not present at precinct caucus by accepting a written request by an absent person to fill a delegate or alternate slot.
Downloading and completing this form does not give you an absentee vote at caucus. The individual’s candidate must have achieved threshold. The individual does not have a vote and is not considered part of the calculation for threshold nor do they have a vote in any other actions that require a vote. The individual must have been eligible to participate in the caucus (i.e. proper voter registration), and must receive an approval vote by the precinct.
Download and fill this out completely. Failure to fill this form out completely and accurately may forfeit your delegate or alternate status. Print neatly—illegible forms may forfeit your delegate or alternate status.
This form must be at your precinct caucus on March 16, 2010 in order for you to be elected as a Delegate or Alternate. Give this form to someone who will attend your precinct caucus. If this form is sumbitted to the wrong precinct, you will not be eligible to be elected as a Delegate or Alternate. No delegate or alternate may be added to the delegate list after the close of the caucus. Do not turn this form into the Larimer County Democratic Party offices.
If you are elected to represent your precinct as a Delegate or Alternate, your official call will be sent via email or US Mail.
