William Russell celebrates his election to the LCDP Chair with his grandchild on June 3rd at Preston Middle School in Fort Collins.

William Russell, long-time party activist and the wizard of GOTV, was elected Chair of the Larimer County Democratic Party. William is focused and already working hard to elect 15 Democrats to federal, state and county offices this November! Let's all join him and put our shoulders to that wheel. Together, we'll make it happen!

Mark your calendars, pay now!

Your annual Larimer Dems Picnic will rock and roll on Sat., August 28th, in the best back yard in the county. Come at the beginning, 4:00 p.m. and stay till the end, 7:00. In between, enjoy great picnic food and drink--served with gusto by the Usual Party Suspects. Meet and Greet special guests--watch this space and the weekly E-newsletter for announcements as candidates, senators and representatives are confirmed.

Community Events YOU Can Get Involved In

Candidates and their supporters showed up in strength at the Berthoud Day Parade on Sat., June 5th. Berthoud folks staffed a booth for the day and talked with interested south county voters.

Betsy Markey and Adam Bowen walked Fort Collins' Pride in the Park festival together, and spent some time at the LCDP booth talking with supporters. Betsy also made it to the Johnstown parade that day (did somebody clone her?!)

Next up -- The 4th of July:

Multiple opportunities for parade and booth fun during the July 4th week, beginning with the Red Feather Lakes Parade on Sat., the 3rd. The 4th will see a parade and booth in Wellington, as well as booths in Loveland and Old Town Fort Collins. Tuesday, July 6th, drive on up to Estes Park to help them kick off the summer season with the Rooftop Rodeo Parade, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Events are where it's at, clear into October. Please sign on to take part in a parade, staff a booth, or just show up and help increase the energy and enthusiasm for Democrats and our values.
