Message from the Chair:
Having just crossed the 6-month mark until Election Day, the calendar is
packed with candidate events!  I won't attempt to enumerate them all, but
please note our next Governor, John Hickenlooper, will be in Fort Collins on
Saturday!  Full details for all events are below.
 
Meanwhile, the end of the state legislative session at hand, and our
hard-working trio, State Reps Randy Fischer and John Kefalas, and State
Senator Bob Bacon will be conducting a wrap-up town hall meeting on
Saturday.  If you don't usually get to their town hall meetings, this is one
not to miss!

Volunteers are needed to help sign-in delegates in Broomfield on Friday, May 21 in the afternoon and Saturday, May 22 in the morning. All attendees who volunteer will have an opportunity to vote.

CD4 and State Assembly Delegates and Alternates: You will receive more information soon from the State Party, but we wanted to make sure you had information if you want to book hotel rooms in Broomfield for the State Assembly.
The Congressional District 4 Assembly will be on Friday, May 21. You might also want to stay overnight on Fri. because check-in at the First Bank Center (formerly the Broomfield Event Center) will begin at 7am on Saturday, May 22nd!
The Westin is the host hotel. The Aloft hotel shares a parking lot as the First Bank Center. Book your rooms now so you are sure to have one.

While the Democratic Breakfast Forum will never see the likes of Hillary Clinton, Colorado's own Secretary of State, Bernie Beuscher, will be the featured speaker at the May 5 breakfast. Perhaps you've wondered what the CO Secretary of State does and why that office is important to our state. Take this opportunity to meet & hear Bernie Beuscher. You'll come away having learned a lot, and wanting to help him retain that office in November.
