Message from the Chair:

Markey and Hickenlooper

We have some great events this week. Most notably: Congresswoman Betsy Markey, and the Mayor, future Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper. Get out to lend a hand this week. And don’t forget to contribute whatever you can to your favorite Larimer County candidate. There are reporting deadlines soon, and you can help draw attention to these campaigns by getting online now.  Let the contributors elsewhere know that Larimer County Democratic candidates are supported by Larimer County Democrats.

This week we were wowed by the financial reports of our stellar Congresswoman, Betsy Markey. This is a distinct message on the work she has done, the manner she has done her job, and growing evidence that Betsy Markey is uniquely recognized as being right for this district, by this district.

This week, one of the Republican candidates for Colorado Governor, Scott McInnis, was caught providing a ghost written report, with stolen sections, as original work. Scott took in $300k for this con. My advice is to get your money returned Scott, and return the $300k to your political buddies. If it’s a charity they’re looking for, I would recommend the Larimer County Food Bank.

And that appointed insider who inherited the seat in HD 49, BJ Nikkel, also chose to publish someone else’s work as her own this week. I take it none of the Republican candidates know anything about Colorado water, and are desperate to take credit for something.

There you have it: The Good,  the Ugly and the Bad.
