From DOGE cuts and tariffs to recent budget cuts that favor the rich, our economy isn’t working for everyday people. Our priority is to safeguard & expand jobs in Larimer County that pay living wages. We know a strong, resilient economy is built from the middle out by a diverse workforce, and is backed by a nourished, stable & sustainable environment.

PATIENTS OVER PROFIT & THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE

Health care is a fundamental right. We protect and strengthen programs like the Affordable Care Act, Medicare & Medicaid. We trust a woman to make her own health care and reproductive choices. We also back the Equality Act, which would prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. To truly cherish freedom, it must be for all, not some.

LOCAL IMPACT
PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES THAT STRENGTHEN LARIMER COUNTY

We advance county programs and initiatives that expand childcare for low-to moderate-income families, tax credits for working families, and affordable housing. We seek opportunities to support nonprofits like United Way, Boys & Girls Club, Project Self Sufficiency & many more that help make Northern Colorado a place we can all live & thrive.

We reject authoritarianism and uphold the freedoms of expression guaranteed by the First Amendment. We believe due process is a bedrock of our democracy and we uphold the rule of law. Those in power must always remain accountable to the people. We believe respect is earned and true leadership must rise from the people, not lord over them.

It's not easy, it's worth it.

In our party, we bring together a wide and diverse coalition of people, perspectives, and priorities under one umbrella. Rather than standing for a narrow ideology, we embrace a spectrum of views ranging from progressive to centrist to moderate. This inclusivity allows us to unite urban and rural voters, communities of color, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, organized labor, environmental advocates, business leaders, faith-based groups, and more—around our shared values of equality, fairness, opportunity, and democratic governance.

Our Big Tent approach recognizing that our strength lies in our diversity. We know that internal debates and disagreements are part of the democratic process, shaping policies that reflect the needs of a broad base of Americans. In practice, our Big Tent strategy makes the Democratic Party a home for anyone committed to advancing social progress, protecting rights, expanding economic opportunity, and ensuring government works for the people, by the people.
