Now that the Primary is over, we’re hearing a lot of excitement about top-of-ticket races in Colorado, and even some big ones elsewhere around the country. We get it. It’s easy to get caught up in the rush of excitement around a James Talarico or Mary Peltola. But we urge you to remember that every dollar you invest locally in CD4 and CD8 brings us one step closer to flipping Congress.

That’s right. If we flip CD4 and CD8 — we unseat Lauren Boebert AND Democrats take back the U.S. House of Representatives!

That’s why we want to encourage you to give locally, either to the Larimer Dems’ “Dems GEMs” fund or to our county-level candidates. No one is better equipped to turn out the vote in Larimer than those who have lived and worked this turf year after year. And if someone turns out to vote for Bob Overbeck for County Assessor, Ken Forsythe for County Clerk, Stephen Hanks for Coroner, or Joann Ginal for County Treasurer, you can be sure they’ll vote out Lauren Boebert and Gabe Evans.

So, let’s raise a glass to our local candidates and to local fundraising. Bottoms Up!
